about

26 great pop covers of Creedence Clearwater Revival and John Fogerty tracks by the artists that you've come to love on Pop Garden Radio. This is a digital only release.

I can remember my aunt giving me a copy of Cosmo’s Factory sometime in the mid-80’s. I was completely blown away by this fantastic album. Once that guitar riff that kicked off “Ramble Tamble,” I was hooked. At the time I was mostly listening to country music, Rick Nelson and the Beatles. There were elements of those sounds here but there was something special that I couldn’t quite put my finger on. Something that I wanted to hear more of.

I was able to find all of the Creedence Clearwater Revival album, and I listened to them nearly non-stop. I would put on mini-shows for my cousins where I would lip sync “Proud Mary” and “Looking Out My Back Door.” The very first song that I ever sang on stage was “Lodi.”

After I had released Legacy – A Tribute to Rick Nelson, I had little doubt as to what my next tribute project would be. I reached out to my musician friends and the response was tremendous. Artists like Popdudes, Lisa Mychols, Scott Erickson, Million Sellers, Clay Howard and Bryan Shaddix have been part of my projects in the past and this album brings about several PGR Presents newcomers. I’ve always wanted Michael Carpenter to be involved in one of my discs, and I’m excited to have him on board.

Proceeds will be donated to Access Charter School a school for autism spectrum disorder ages 11-22, located in Orlando, Florida. I hope that you enjoy this collection of great songs.

A lot of heart and soul went into these songs and I couldn’t be more proud of how well this turned out.

Bring a nickel, tap your feet…

Thank you to Scott Erickson for his help with this project and for being a great sounding board.

A giant debt of gratitude to all of the artists who have participated in the project. Your patience has meant the world to me. Thank you for toughing it out with me.
